In a effort to help raise funds for out Glove Dryer campaign, the Blueline Booster Club will be holding a 50 50 raffle Saturday April 2nd when the Lincoln Stars face off with the Sioux Falls Stampede. Tickets for the raffle can be bought outside of the clubs booth until the end of the 2nd intermission. Tickets are 1-$1 6-$5 and 15-$10 The winner will be announced during the 3rd period and the winners share must be picked up that night at the end of the game or the winners share will automatically be donated to the Glove Dryer fund. We are currently at $2221 of the $2600 needed to purchase the dryer.
One of the things the BLBC does every year is make gift to the players of the Lincoln Stars program. For this season we are doing something different and going above and beyond our normal gift amount. We would like to purchase a portable glove dryer for the team! This is were you the greatest fans in the USHL will come into play, in a effort to help with the cost of the dryer we are seeking donations. The glove dryer costs $2600 and the BLBC has committed to donating $1040 this year to the cause.
*UPDATE* We have met our goal and the dryer has arrived safely at the Ice Box. We would like to give a big THANK YOU to everyone that donated and participated in the 50/50 raffles. We are so thankful to be able to provide such a wonderful gift to the team, and we know they (and Cory) appreciate it greatly.
To donate you can stop by the BLBC booth at any home game or any of our meetings and events.
If you would like to donate via paypal just click the donate button below: (this will open a new window)
Here is a little info regarding the way we are doing Photo With A Star this season:
“Picture w/ a Star Since most people want digital photos these days, we’re making a change to our “picture with a Star.” This season the winner will be encouraged to have their photo taken with their own cam- era or phone. A board member will still be in the Zamboni pit to take the photo with your de- vice or take it with their own phone to text or email it to you if needed. So stop in a sign up any non Saturday home game.”
